The Examined Path Through Reparations — the philosophical and economic case

The philosophical case for reparations rests on a simple claim: that wealth extracted through injustice creates an obligation in those who benefit, even across generations. The economic case asks what form that obligation should take and whether the amount can be calculated. Both cases are serious and require serious response — dismissing them because they are uncomfortable is not a philosophical position.
