Indigenous technology values

Many Indigenous frameworks evaluate technology not by what it produces but by what relationship it creates — with the land, with the community, with the future. The question 'does this tool serve the seventh generation?' is not Luddite; it is a different standard of evaluation, one that places the human within a larger web of obligation. This framework has been largely absent from mainstream technology ethics, which is itself worth noting.
