Freedom as Inherited Unfinished Work

Mirabai's own life was a defiant act of freedom—she rejected social convention, patriarchal marriage, and religious orthodoxy in pursuit of spiritual authenticity. Yet her freedom was incomplete; she lived in tension with her world. This might mean: speaking truths they could not speak, pursuing opportunities they were denied, healing traumas they had to suppress, and creating societies more just than the ones they endured. The examined heart understands that our freedom is not personal luxury but collective inheritance and responsibility.
