Do we trust the machine's answer, or trust ourselves?
Some of you read the AI's output and stop thinking. Others see it and refuse to look, certain it will replace you or mislead you. Both are ways of not doing your job. The machine is not wise or foolish. It is fast, and it is blind to context you hold in your hands. Fear of it and faith in it are both excuses to avoid the harder work — deciding, together, what the evidence actually means. You were not hired to feel a certain way about a tool. You were hired to reach the right answer and stand behind it. Build the habit of checking, questioning, and owning the call, as a team, every time.
Neither. Trust is not the question — judgment is. The tool sees patterns; you are accountable for the conclusion. Use its output as one voice among several, then decide, together, and sign your name to it. Leaning on it to dodge responsibility, or dismissing it to protect your pride, are both evasions.
What changes unlock by starting
- Your team catches its own blind spots instead of hiding them behind the tool.
- Disagreements with the AI become useful data, not a source of dread.
- Everyone on the pod can explain why a conclusion was reached, not just repeat what the tool said.
- Your judgment stays sharp instead of quietly eroding.
