Where is my life insurance policy, and is it still active?

This happens to careful people too. You buy a policy, put it in a drawer, and life moves on. Ten years later, no one can say for certain where it is, or if it still exists. Ask who this serves, right now. A policy that only you know about protects no one but your memory. If something happened to you tomorrow, your family would not know where to look, or who to call. This is not a mystery to solve with worry. It is a search to run with method, and with your pod beside you. Reason gives us the steps; your people give you the hands to do them.

What’s really going on

You can find out, and you do not have to do it alone. Use the free national life insurance policy locator search — it checks companies for policies in your name. Ask your pod to help search old mail, email, and bank records first. Reason says: a policy no one can find protects no one.

What changes unlock by starting

  • You know within a week whether a policy exists, and with which company.
  • Your pod knows exactly where the documents live, not just you.
  • Your family has the insurer's name and a claims contact, in writing.
  • The policy stays active because someone besides you is now watching it.
