The neighbours ate fine soup from his good pot at his funeral feast, which he did not attend, being dead. This is what happens when the road to work is blocked and you take the alley behind the bakery instead, and you sigh about being late instead of noticing you have never walked that alley before. You are guarding the copper pot. You are saving the good version of wonder for a Sultan who is not coming. Working on this with others makes it easier, because a pod can catch what one tired person alone will not. Someone else can point at your alley and say: that. That was the thing. That counted.
