Will an AI clone of my voice put us out of work?

You and your team sit in the room together, and somewhere behind you a piece of software can now produce a voice close enough to fool a stranger. The ground moves. You start to wonder what you're actually for. Here is the question you keep avoiding: was the sound of your voice ever the whole of the work? Or was it the vessel for something else — your timing, your judgment, your refusal to say the easy thing? A recording can be copied. A decision cannot. Say plainly, as a team, what you actually sell. If it's only sound, that market will shrink, and no amount of worry changes that. If it's judgment, care, timing, presence — the machine has no claim on that yet. Find out which one you are, together, while you still have time to choose.
