Every serious tradition that has addressed love has also addressed conflict, and none of them pretend it can be avoided. The question is not whether conflict will come but whether it will be the fire that destroys or the fire that clarifies. Different traditions offer different maps — Stoic restraint, Buddhist equanimity, relational repair practices — and all of them begin with the capacity to stay present rather than flee or escalate.
