Montessori and Waldorf approaches

Both Montessori and Waldorf begin from a genuine reverence for the child as a complete being, not a project to be managed. Montessori trusts the child's drive toward independence; Waldorf honors the imagination and the developmental arc of wonder. Each offers something real — and both are more easily accessed as principles than as entire systems, especially outside their institutional forms.
