You cannot practice wu wei with invisible forces; alignment requires some visibility. The hidden watchers represent the Tao inverted: genuine power in natural systems flows openly, observable to participants. Corrupted systems hide their mechanisms. Practically, this means demanding transparency: understanding what data exists about you, who accesses it, how it influences you. Tools like data access requests, privacy audits, and algorithmic literacy become essential. You cannot be free in relationship with invisible others; freedom requires enough visibility to understand the field you're moving through. Reclaiming agency means slowly illuminating these hidden networks.
