I mentor everyone. Who mentors me?
You can see the whole shape of a young mind and steer it toward what it might become. People hand you their futures and trust you to carry them well. And you carry them — while no one asks if you have anything left to give. This is not a shortage of mentors in the world. It is a habit you built without noticing: pouring out, taking nothing in. You call it duty. Look again. It is also fear of asking, and the quiet comfort of being needed by everyone and depended on by no one. The fix is not rescue. No one will tap you on the shoulder and offer what you need. The fix is a choice, made today: ask someone, plainly, for the thing you are missing. That is within your power. Waiting to be noticed is not.
No one is coming to fix this for you. You don't need a mentor to appear — you need to ask, plainly, for what you lack. Name one thing you need. Choose one person. Ask this week. That is the whole answer.
